Gas prices down $2.53, diesel down $0.77
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, October 18, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from PetroJam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $139.36 and $142.20 per litre, respectively, down by $2.53 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $145.24 per litre following a decrease of $0.77, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.88 and will be sold for $149.65 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $1.63 and will be sold for $125.62 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $55.40 per litre, down by $1.58 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $62.21 per litre after a decrease of $2.57.
Movements in Petrojam’s product prices are reflective of changes in the prices of the relevant petroleum products within the US Gulf Coast (USGC) region.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
