Port Antonio High hosts health and wellness day
The Port Antonio High School in Portland, last Thursday, hosted a Health and Wellness Day at its auditorium for staff.
Vice Principal Denise Logan told the Jamaica Observer North & East that it was the second staging and that the objective is to commit to positive changes in the way the school handles its financial, social and physical health.
“We had Mr Peter Wright telling us how to set up a small business and Andrew Hylton on Physical health. We culminated with ‘Fun Fest’. All our staff was involved in the day’s activity — academic, ancillary and administrative,” she said.
Observer North & East captured part of the Fun Fest where staff was divided into four groups to perform. They were judged on their coordination, creativity and how well they depicted moves in football, cricket and netball.
Group three was adjudged winners.
