Morning Bliss celebrates milestone
Morning Bliss, the all-white breakfast party, is celebrating its first anniversary on Heroes’ Day, Monday, October 15. It is slated to unfold at Lyssons Beach in St Thomas.
Junior Bloodline, co-promoter of the event, spoke about how the party has evolved.
“Morning Bliss is dubbed as one of the fastesttrending parties in Jamaica, and its rapid growth is based on heavy promotion, marketing and our loyal patrons from St Thomas, Kingston and Portland,” he told Jamaica Observer.
Ranyke Solomon is the series’ other co-promoter.
Morning Bliss — held three times annually: Ash Wednesday, Independence Day and Heroes’ Monday — was first held on October 16, 2017 at Lyssons Beach.
“The concept for Morning Bliss was formed just by wanting to do something different. I always wanted to do something outside of Kingston, and St Thomas was perfect because it is also close to Kingston. No breakfast party of that nature was ever held there, and we chose our dates on the holidays so patrons can take a drive out to the country, enjoy the beach, music, good food and performances by entertainers. You couldn’t ask for a better holiday,” said Bloodline.
Commissioned to spin the musical hits at Monday’s event are Team Shella, Di Unit, ZJ Liquid, Lando Ravas, Supa Hype, and Bloodline Franco. Jada Kingdom and I-Octane are scheduled to perform.
Bloodline shared what patrons should expect at Monday’s event.
“At our last event in August we had performances from Popcaan and Rygin King. This time we will have Jada Kingdom and I-Octane. We definitely will be turning things up a notch with a number of offerings for our patrons, including four major food courts, a VIP food court, an elevated Ocean View Cabana and non-stop juggling’ from the selectors. We will also have lots of prizes and giveaways all day. This will be a Morning Bliss to remember.”
