Dark Chocolate goes burlesque
NEGRIL, Westmoreland — The sixth staging of Dark Chocolate unfolds tomorrow night at Bambooze Negril, where event promoter Neikesha Kozer is inviting patrons to come and “indulge in the fantasy world of burlesque”.
“Patrons know that they are in for an unforgettable night, so come prepared to revel in a sizzling renaissance with beautiful people, exquisite cuisine and state-of-the-art décor, solidified by western Jamaica’s hottest deejays,” said Kozer.
“Brand Negril Team Jamaica local DJs will showcase what the resort town has to offer as there will be no talking, no disruptions, just bliss and great vibes going through all genres, from soca, dancehall, pop, reggae, Afro beats, EDM, you name it, Dark Chocolate is that event.”
Kozer told the Jamaica Observer West that she is particularly pleased and excited that acclaimed dancer and choreographer Christina Gonzales will make her debut in Negril when she performs at the event, revealing that her set will be “a real treat, especially for the males”.
The night’s entertainment will also include deejays Smoke Infinity, DJ Gemini, XX3tra Fyah working out on the popular Black Kolaz Sound, and will be shosted by “Mr Whip Cream” and McBlazze.
“The difference with this calendar event is that it’s a celebration, so everyone is treated to complimentary chocolate delicacies, chocolate- infused shots, henna tattoos, and this year we are offering body piercing,” added an upbeat Kozer.
