Hello, where’s the NIA?
Dear Editor,
I’m somewhat puzzled and concerned at the same time, after realising that the National Integrity Action (NIA) has been distant and silent regarding the Manchester Municipal Corporation mess that is brewing to the level of scandal.
Millions of dollars are reportedly unaccounted for, but no NIA?
Some people, I hear, have resigned because of this, and no NIA?
What really is going on at the NIA?
Is it that the NIA is selective in what it has interest? I want to know.
As a concerned citizen, I would love to hear the voice of an organisation which stands for integrity, as the NIA says it does.
I suppose the NIA, as an organisation, might have its own personal reasons it’s not interested. But in these times, who knows?
It just seems rather strange to me.
Maybe it is that no one has brought it to the NIA’s attention. So I am calling on the National Integrity Action to look into this matter which is of great concern to the leadership and integrity of those elected to lead and serve the people.
