Rain delays start of second West Indies/ Sri Lanka test
GROS-ISLET, Saint Lucia (AFP) — Rain delayed the toss and therefore the start of the second of the three Tests between the West Indies and Sri Lanka at the Darren Sammy Stadium in St Lucia today.
West Indies hold a 1-0 lead after winning the first Test in Trinidad by 226 runs.
Sri Lanka have suffered two setbacks with former captain Angelo Mathews returning home for personal reasons while fast-medium bowler Lahiru Gamage is also on his way back to Colombo after sustaining a fractured finger while batting on the final day of the opening Test.
