I-Octane makes big move
LAST month, I-Octane’s third studio album Love & Life entered and peaked at number three on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart. After falling out of the Top 10, the Conquer the Globe release makes a big comeback, leaping from number 30 to 10 this week.
Love & Life contains 19 tracks including collaborations with Shaggy, Demarco, Ginjah, J Boog, and Romain Virgo. The set sold an additional 55 copies, up from 16 copies the previous week for total sales of 539 copies.
At number one for the third consecutive week is 44/876 by Sting and Shaggy, which sold an additional 3,731 copies — a 64 per cent drop from the 5,972 copies it sold the week before. The album has so far sold 19,938 since its release one month ago.
Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica, a compilation, holds firm at number two, with another 225 copies sold, down from 425 the week before. Its tally stands at 4,217 copies.
Box Full of Steel by The Dubplates is steady at number three with 146 copies sold for a total of 2,485 copies, while Damian Marley’s Stony Hill moved 135 copies for a total of 20,199 to hold the number four slot.
At number five, moving up from eight the previous week, is Sister Caro EP by Henricci, with Romain Virgo’s Lovesick falling to number six with sales of 802 copies.
Chronology by Chronixx moves up to number seven, while Marching Orders by The Green is up one spot to number eight.
Vessel of Love by Hollie Cook moves from number 19 to nine. It has sold 1,593 copies.
