SAINT Star Wayne Booth Covers The Cut
Chocolate belle Wayne Booth is on a roll! Without fuss or fanfare the Saint International model has with quiet confidence found her runway spotlight. Adored by European designers the St Mary-born sensation shared with SO from New York that she’s thrilled with her successes to date. She’s just landed the coveted cover of influential fashion glossy The Cut for its just-released May issue. Interestingly, the much-buzzed about spread was produced by Beil Park Lee, who was on the W Magazine team visiting for Style Week Jamaica 2017 last May before moving to The Cut . Of Booth’s visage of unquestionable elegance, Lee remarks, ‘I adore her’.
Photographed by Peter Ash Lee for the 12-page spread, Booth wears haute couture by Dior, Schiapareli, Chanel, Maison Margiela Aristanal, Viktor and Rolf, Valentino, Givenchy, and Armani Privé for the mag’s editorial aptly titled Couture, Simplified.
The seriously in-demand Booth, previously a cover girl for the high-end glossy Suitcase, radiates pure glamour in her editorial collaboration with fashion editor/stylist Rebecca Ramsay, make-up artist Courtney Perkins and hairstylist Yohey Nakatsuka.
Just back from the exotic isle of Mauritius for a photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar, Booth is enjoying life as a globe-trotting top model in the fast lane. “I’m living my dream right now and feel blessed for all the opportunities coming my way I feel fortunate to be able to be working with all these great designers and magazines, and know that there is much more to come my way.”
Booth is due to return to the island for Saint International’s much-anticipated glam-fest Style Week Jamaica that runs from May 16 to 20 in Kingston. She is excited to rock the catwalks for the week-long series of fashion showcases that will feature Jamaican and international fashion designers.
Style Week JAMAICA 2018 is sponsored by the Jamaica Tourist Board, Campari, CLEARSOUNDS Production, the Jamaica Observer, Gabriella’s Cosmetics, and Jamaica Business Development Corporation, Urban Development Corporation, JACAP, Loop, Fame FM, and Suncity Radio.
