Seeking My Dream tries again
Former Horse of the Year, Seeking My Dream races tomorrow in an attempt to win his first race since March 11 of last year.
The six-year-old chestnut horse competes at the Open Allowance level over seven and a half furlongs and faces five rivals.
The Supreme Racing Guide analyses the six runners in post-position order.
1 – SEEKING MY DREAM (6-ch-h – Seeking The Glory – Alsafra) – Has been hampered a lot by injuries over the last two years. Seeking My Dream raced for the first time this season on April 14, finishing third behind Simply The Best and Another Bullet over six furlongs (1,200m), a trip considered short for Seeking My Dream. Now returning to a journey more to his liking, Seeking My Dream has his best shot of winning in a long while. Looked good in the parade on last.
2 – DYSFUNCTIONAL (5-b-g – He’stherealthing – Luscious) – Has clawed his way through the classes to reach the Open Allowance level. Dysfunctional is tough but right now might need the time to catch the pace of this class.
3 – HOVER CRAFT (8-b-g – He’stherealthing – Royal Pizzaz) – Continues to perform well and with consistency but allowing weight to Seeking My Dream and beating him going seven and a half furlongs is not on the cards.
4 – ZEPHYR (5-ch-m – Nasheet – Rushing Force) – Beat the likes of Siempre Bueno and Money Magnet on January 6 to show her worth in this class. Since then Zephyr has tried her best but without any success. Should be fresh and ripe for this race and a good effort by Zephyr is awaited.
5 – ANOTHER BULLET (6-b-h – Nasheet – Wisely Noted) – Consistent and tough campaigner, Another Bullet ran really well on last over six furlongs (1,200m) when he just failed to catch the speedy Simply The Best beating Seeking My Dream in the process. Another Bullet is versatile and can lead or do his work coming from behind the pace. With tomorrow’s race lacking a true leader, he can go in front and prove difficult to catch. Has a good chance in this one.
6 – SUPERTRONICS (6-ch-g – Seeking The Glory – Super Lass) – Supertronics is going to find it difficult against these.
