Four wanted for murder, one for shooting in Westmoreland
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Westmoreland police are searching for four murder suspects, while a fifth is wanted for shooting.
The men, who the police said are “considered armed and dangerous,” are being asked to turn themselves in to the police by 12:00 pm tomorrow.
The man wanted for shooting is Isaiah Perry, otherwise called ‘Matthew Perry’ or ‘Cat’ of Kings Valley, Grange Hill, Westmoreland.
Wanted for murder are:
• Richard Hamilton, 23, otherwise called ‘Brutus’ or ‘Mad Move’, of Paul Island district, Grange Hill, Westmoreland. He is of dark complexion, slim build. He is also is wanted forother related incidents in the division.
• Haldane Hamilton otherwise called ‘Fishy’ of Paul Island district, Grange Hill, Westmoreland. He is of dark complexion, medium build and about 5 feet 11 inches tall.
• Jeffery Ramdass, 30, otherwise called ‘Boogie’, of Paul Island district, Grange Hill Westmoreland. He’s of dark complexion and slim build.
• Burton Shearer, 49, otherwise called ‘Bap’, of Church Lincoln district, Grange Hill, Westmoreland. He is of dark complexion, slim build and 5 feet 11 inches tall.
The police said their whereabouts must be reported to the police immediately through Crime Stop at 311, 811 or the police 119 emergency number.
They also reminded citizens that it is not only an offence harbour criminals and provide a safe haven for them but it also places the lives of family and friends at increased risks of attack.
The five men are being hunted following yesterday’s bloody onslaught in the parish, where seven people, including two boys, aged two and ten years old, were murdered and eight others wounded in separate gun attacks.
