Some JUTC buses relocated for today’s anniversary celebrations in downtown Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) is advising commuters that there will be some operational changes this afternoon for buses that ply the downtown Kingston route.
The changes are due to activities in the vicinity to commemorate Kingston’s 145th anniversary as the capital of Jamaica.
“Between the hours of 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm all Portmore buses operating out of South Parade will be moved to Pechon Street,” the state-run bus company advised on Twitter today.
Meanwhile, Spanish Town buses operating out of South Parade will terminate at Lower Orange Street and all Rockfort buses will remain at North Parade.
JUTC said customer service personnel will be on location to assist the public.
