Gas prices down $0.38, diesel down $0.03
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, April 12, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $123.41 and $126.25 per litre, respectively, down by $0.38 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $120.54 per litre following a decrease of $0.03 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.24 and will be sold for $125.33 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.17 and will be sold for $102.12 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $42.49 per litre, down by $1.04 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $45.61 per litre after a decrease of $1.04.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
