ENOS BROWN GOOD FORM CONTINUES
Trainer Enos Brown continued his good form when he saddled a double on the 10-race programme at Caymanas Park on Saturday. Brown saddled Jason Gold in the fourth race over the five-furlong (1,000m) straight course and Top Eagle, who was awarded the seventh race after the winner — Yolove was disqualified in the five-and-a-half furlong (1,100m) event.
Ridden by Dane Nelson, Jason’s Gold was up and running quickly from the start with Reign Over All (Oniel Mullings) in the early exchanges.
The two continued in the same way until entering the final furlong (200m), when Jason’s Gold drew away for his three-length win and Reign Over All held well for second with Willinston (Javaniel Patterson).
Jason’s Gold won in a time of 1:01.4. Under the guidance of Robert Halledeen, Top Eagle led for most of the way in the Restricted Allowance event.
Top Eagle broke on top but gave up the lead in deep stretch as Yolove (Doushane Gordon) surged to victory.
Yolove was disqualified for causing interference to Sweet Destiny (Anthony Thomas) shortly after the start of the race. The final time was recorded at 1:07.3.
LADY IN THE ARENA GUIDED HOME BY NATALIE BERGER
Lady In The Arena, trained by Ray Phillips and ridden by Natalie Berger, after four starts released the maiden tag over the five-furlong (1,000m) straight course in the Al Gopie Memorial Cup.
Lady In The Arena (Taqarub – Dignified) broke well and was disputing the lead with Mr Pantheon (Robert Halleedeen) at the off.
The runners continued to battle for control and opened up of the field passing the dummy rails, but it was Lady In The Arena who began to draw away, in the end, to score by two lengths over Mr Pantheon.
Ahuagain (Anthony Thomas) was third and Kingonamission (Osive Donegal) fourth in a time of 1:02.1.

A WINNER FOR TRAINER ALDEN FRANCIS
Trainer Alden Francis, from only his second start of the season, notched his first win for the season when Royal Girl returned to romp home in the second race over five furlongs (1,000m) on the round course.
Ridden by Dane Dawkins, Royal Girl won by two lengths in a time of 1:03.1 to record her second win of the season.
Princess Statistic (Dick Cardenas) was the first to show on the lead chased by Great Manipulator (Roshane Johnson) and followed by Royal Girl in third as the runners went around the half mile (800m) turn.
Turning for home and going three wide, Royal Girl responded well when Dawkins asked her to go and slowly but surely edged away in the end for a comfortable win.
Great Manipulator outbattled Copperfield (Anthony Thomas) for second money.
