#FLOWCariftaGames: Jamaica’s Foreman wins girls’ U-17 high jump
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Martinique have copped a gold medal each in the morning session of the 47th CARIFTA Games being held at the Thomas A Robinson National Stadium in the Bahamas.
The gold from Jamaica came via Shantae Foreman won the girls’ Under-17 high jump.
She measured 1.74 metres to finish ahead of Vanessa Mercera of Curacao who was second with 1.71, while M’Kayla White got the hosts on the medal table with bronze in 1.65.
Curacao, the Bahamas and Grenada have all copped a silver medal each, with Bahamas having a bronze medal to it its tally so far as well.
Meanwhile Dominica and Turks and Caicos have each copped a bronze medal.
