ATL fires up Heineken ‘Share the Drama’ UCL campaign
Appliance Traders Limited (ATL), through their Prizm brand, has partnered with Heineken, SportsMax and In Control Gaming for the 2018 UEFA Champions League (UCL) promotional campaign.
Dubbed ‘Share the Drama’, the campaign was launched on Tuesday inside the Triple Century Sports Bar in New Kingston.
The Share the Drama campaign follows the excitement of last year’s UCL Trophy visit to Jamaica and will see new partners ATL giving fans the chance to win appliances and other prizes during the tournament. Prizm TVs, minibars and other prizes will be rolled out in the coming weeks. As an added bonus, customers who purchase Prizm TVs will also take home a Heineken six-pack.
Managing director for ATL, Danville Walker, was excited about the partnership which will see the appliance trading giants making use of the already existing synergy between beer, TV’s and football.
“This is a massive partnership for us. We know that football gets every Jamaicans excited. When you look at competitions such as the Champions League, only the Word Cup can be mentioned in any form of comparison. ATL will be going all out with Heineken, SportsMax and In Control Gaming to Share the Drama with fans of the Champions League, giving them the best viewer experience. Our Prizm line of TVs will be on display throughout the campaign and along with the drama, we will be sharing massive giveaways for customers and the general public,” said Walker.
Brand manager of Heineken, Suwannee Caine-Stewart, shared information about the partnership with a full house inside Triple Century for the launch of the campaign, which also served as a viewing party for one of the most anticipated round-of-16 matches between Chelsea and Barcelona that finished 1-1.
“The match was pure drama and this is why UCL is such an amazing platform for us. As global sponsors of the league, Heineken has been consistently bringing premium football to local audiences and this season we’ll be doing no less,” said Caine-Stewart. “Through our new and exciting partnerships, we’re bringing more football to more people and creating more premium experiences that will open your world”.
ATL, which celebrates its 50th year of operations this June, expanded its Prizm line in 2017. In addition to its well-established Prizm air conditioners, generators and minibars, the line now offers 32” to 65” LED and UHD 4K flat screen and curved televisions, commercial washers and dryers, VRF air conditioners, and domestic and commercial refrigerators.
