The Lions still require an additional 173 runs to make West Indies A bat a second time.
Liam Livingstone is unbeaten on three, while Paul Coughlin is on one.
The Lions started the day on 34 without loss in their second innings, but lost five wickets in the morning session.
The Lions’ left-hand batsman Nick Gubbins has top-scored so far with 22. West Indies A left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican has taken 2-21 to have 10 wickets in the match after his first-innings bowling heroics.
