Elite Diagnostic lists on the Junior Market
Elite Diagnostic Limited is set to see its shares listed on the Junior Market at the Jamaica Stock Exchange in downtown Kingston today at 9:00 a.m.
Elite’s initial public offering (IPO) was oversubscribed earlier this month. The IPO saw the issue of 70,680,000 ordinary shares at a fixed price of J$2.00 per share.
A total of 3,346 applications totalling 614,190,600 units or a value of J$1,228,381,200 were received.
The company commenced operations in August 2013 at its Holborn Road location in Kingston with the objective of providing diagnostic imaging services to patients in Jamaica.
Elite is controlled by a group of private partners through a vehicle called Excel Investments Inc.
Elite was launched with equity participation from NCB Capital Markets Limited, Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited, and Barnett Limited.
The company’s business has expanded over the years, and on November 1, 2017 it opened a new branch at 164½ Old Hope Road.
