CCL Business Technology stages open house
Copiers and Consumables Limited is now trading as CCL Business Technology, saying it is part of the company’s growth strategy as it marks its 15th anniversary.
In recognition of the milestone, the company says it will be hosting more than 200 organisations at its new head office at 6 Ripon Road, Kingston 5, tomorrow and Thursday.
According to the company, the open house, which it has named ‘Digital Transformation in the Workplace’, will provide Jamaican companies with tools to enhance their document management processes, reduce document costs on an ongoing basis, reduce IT workload, and increase workplace productivity and efficiency.
“CCL Business Technology’s aim is to have organisations capitalise on this paradigm shift to bring about a significant change in the way they manage documents in the workplace,” the company said in a news release.
“At CCL Business Technology we are focused on streamlining and optimising document processes. Documents will always be crucial to any organisation, and as such they are constantly looking for help to manage not only their documents but all forms of information needed to run their business successfully,” the company explained. “Our job is to enhance the customers’ hardware with integrated applications to make their work life simpler.”
The release reports Managing Director Karen Felicien-Brown as saying that since the company started in 2003, many changes have taken place in the imaging industry against the backdrop of increasing use of digital networks.
“We have transformed ourselves into a truly customer-centric company that stands ready to offer great value to a changing society,” Felicien-Brown said.
“Fifteen years have passed since the founding of this company. During that time our progress in market penetration and unprecedented growth is testament to our focus on the customer. We recognise that we are an important component of Jamaica’s economic strategy and we will continue to do our part in job creation, economic growth and prosperity,” she added.
