Central Kingston blow away Constant Spring in Bell KO
Putting together a highly disciplined performance, Central Kingston put a 3-0 damper on ambitious Constant Spring at Winchester Park as the second round of the JN Bank Visa/KSAFA Jackie Bell Knockout got underway Saturday.
All three goals were well executed as Central Kingston, guided by Neville Bell, is becoming a force with which to be reckoned.
Ronaldo Henry (45+1), Karim Brown (73rd), and Kemar Cummings (88th) did the job for Central Kingston, who played their best game yet this season. The goals were all well executed and the players superbly talented, spelling real trouble for the Premier League teams set for the third round coming up.
While that game would not surprise many, with a Super League team playing a Major League outfit, the tables were turned when Whitfield Town outplayed Santos 3-1 at the Bell Chung Oval.
Adrian Walker, Christopher Clarke, and an own goal ensured that the Major League contenders enter the third round facing big wigs such as Arnett Gardens, Cavalier, and Tivoli Gardens. Sheraton McPherson got the consolation goal for Santos, a team very much in need of funding and wider administrative support.
A Ramon Rose brace spurred Molynes United to 4-2 win over Real Mona, with Patrick Schecklude and Serginio Frankson completing the job for the hosts.
At Barbican field, Navajo Bryan netted twice in Rae Town’s 2-0 disposal of Pembroke Hall.
