Weather Update: Scattered showers expected over eastern, central parishes
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological Service of Jamaica (Met Service) has reported that isolated showers are expected over northern parishes this morning.
Come this afternoon, widespread showers are to be expected over eastern and central parishes.
The Met Service also reported that a High Pressure Ridge has been affecting the island over the past few days and should remain the significant feature across the island until Monday.
Thereafter, a Trough is expected to become the significant feature.
