COMMENCING March 2018, the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) will offer professional development courses in sales, in partnership with Think Grow Lead (TGL) School of Sales and Sales Management.

Under a recent partnership agreement, both institutions have established the new home of professional sales & sales management training. This programme involves the joint delivery of a variety of certificate courses which are developed by TGL, the leading sales-force development experts in the Caribbean, and based in Kingston.

The courses will be delivered through a mix of contact instruction, web-enhanced instruction, and distance-learning formats acceptable to Jamaican accreditation standards, according to Tahjaa Knuckle, UCC’s corporate education manager.

She said the TGL sales & sales management programme is an encouraging addition for individuals and company teams pursuing certification as sales professionals.

Successful graduates of the TGL programme of sales & sales management will be presented with a certificate of competence in their area of study under the accreditation of UCC, disclosed Sally Ann Gray, head of school & programme director at TGL. She said graduates will be awarded the prestigious TGL/UCC certificate, which is regarded as a standard of excellence in the field of sales professionals.

TGL diagnoses, recommends and solves all the varied ailments that affect sales organisations and sales professionals. Its mission includes the development of high-performance sales cultures and increasing sales force productivity and driving profitability. TGL founders Duane Lue-Fung and Paul Bryan, in partnership with Inspire Me Events, brought the Unleash Your Greatness conference to Jamaica in 2017, which featured the world-acclaimed motivational speaker Les Brown. The conference brought together over 1,200 people from different backgrounds islandwide, including innovative business owners, thought leaders, sales professionals, and entrepreneurs.
