New MPs to be sworn in Tuesday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The three Members of Parliament-elect from last week Monday’s by-elections in St Andrew and St Mary will be sworn-in tomorrow at Gordon House, Duke Street, Kingston.
Acting Leader of the House of Representatives, Everald Warmington, confirmed this evening that the three successful candidates – Dr Norman Dunn (JLP-St Mary South Eastern), Mark Golding (PNP- St Andrew Southern) and Dr Angela Brown Burke (PNP-St Andrew South Western) will be sworn in at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 7.
However, final results for the elections, which were held last Monday, October 30, were still not available from the Electoral Commission/Electoral Office of Jamaica up to the time of this publication.
The House of Representatives meets at Gordon House at 2:00 pm.
