Ninjaman’s chest pain halts murder trial
KINGSTON, Jamaica — OBSERVER ONLINE has learnt that the murder trial involving veteran dancehall DJ Ninjaman came to an abrupt halt this afternoon after he began complaining of chest pains and difficulty breathing.
It is understood that the DJ has been taken to hospital for observation.
Ninjaman’s attorney, Valrie Neita-Robertson said he began complaining during the session, which was being held in-camera at the Supreme Court in downtown Kingston.
Ninjaman, whose given name is Desmond Ballentine, along with his son Jahneil, is charged with the March 2009 murder of Ricardo Johnson on Mall Road in Kingston.
