Wray and Nephew Fight Night brings St Bess to life
The ongoing and highly entertaining Wray and Nephew Fight Night Boxing Series extravaganza moves back into St Elizabeth at the Alpart Sports Club destination tonight, with seven fights and an After Party shindig.
The event is promoted by I-Fight Promotions and Creative Sports in collaboration with the Jamaica Boxing Board of Control (JBBC).
Gates will open at 6: 00 pm, with action in the ring beginning at 8:00 pm sharp for the clash between Jamaica and Guyana, featuring five amateur fights and two professional bouts. The main bout of the seven-fight card will be fought between Miguel “Iron Dog” Ray and Kestna Davis over six rounds.
Earlier, Toriano “Unpredictable kid” Nicholas and Daron Weir, who is making his professional debut, will open the professional card in the preliminary bout, which will also be fought over six rounds.
The evening’s boxing show will, however, begin with the clash between Jamaica and Guyana amateurs in five fights, with each being fought over three rounds.
The end of the Fight Night boxing segment will usher in the After Party to add to the entertainment package from midnight until 4:00 am. This section will present the added entertainment feature provided by Breda Hype, Black Champion, and Jam One among others.
