BYBROOK, St Catherine — Former champions Dinthill Technical and Bog Walk High will put their perfect win records on the line today when they clash in a big Zone K top-of-the-table battle at the Bybrook Sports Complex as the ISSA/FLOW daCosta Cup football competition continues today with 15 games.

Dinthill Technical, finalists two years ago, and Bog Walk have won their first two games and will battle for the early lead in their zone, while three other schools, including former champions Glenmuir High, will also be aiming to extend their winning starts to three games in a row.

Despite the impressive records of both schools, Dinthill Technical have dominated the series in the recent years and their most recent loss to Bog Walk came four years ago in the 2013 season.

Dinthill Technical won both games against Bog Walk last year and dropped just two points against their rivals in a drawn game in the 2015 season and have scored 10 goals in their two games played so far this season with national junior representative Kaheem Parris off to a good start with three goals already.

Glenmuir High are coming off a big 9-0 drubbing of Foga Road High on Tuesday and face second-placed Denbigh High, who have scored once in two games played in Zone M so far.

Two teams, St Mary Technical and Oracabessa, are also gunning for their third-straight win in Zone J and will face Iona High and St Mary High, respectively.

Oracabessa High, who lead Zone J on goal difference, beat Iona 5-1 on Tuesday with Denilson Kenlyn scoring a hat-trick, and will turn their attention to St Mary High, who have scored once and conceded three goals so far.

Iona High have lost their only game played so far and face a St Mary Technical team yet to concede a goal in their two games played.

Spot Valley High will seek a second win in Zone C when they travel to face Holland High after edging Muschett in their opening game two days ago.

They were the only winners on Tuesday with the other two games in the zone ending in draws. If they managed to win today they will seize control of a zone that looks like it is going to be competitive and close right to the end.

Holmwood Technical scored four times in their first two games last year, but so far have failed to register one goal in 180 minutes and trail both Spalding and Alston High. But play newcomers Troy High today and must win if they are to stay close to the leaders.

Alston High, leaders on goal difference, will host Christiana High, while Spalding are away to Knox College.
