Scarlett-Lozer shifts to Levy|Cheeks
Andrea Scarlett-Lozer, formerly of law firm Myers, Fletcher & Gordon (MF&G), has dropped anchor at Levy|Cheeks, again as a partner, since August.
A graduate of The University of the West Indies, Scarlett-Lozer holds Bachelor of Laws, and the Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School (NMLS). She also possesses level one qualification as a Certified Financial Analyst.
Scarlett-Lozer is also a proficient speaker of Spanish.
While employed at MF&G from August 2004 to July of this year, Scarlett-Lozer developed a distinguished reputation in the areas of intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, renewable energy, project finance, and was also a trainer.
She was the head of the Intellectual Property Sub-Department at MF&G, and she will continue to serve both local and international clients in the same areas of commercial law, among others, at Levy|Cheeks.
She has served as course director and part-time associate tutor for landlord and tenant law at NMLS.
Scarlett-Lozer is co-founder and director of The Graduates Foundation, a non-profit organisation comprising young professionals who tutor students from inner-city communities free of charge.
Since August 2013 she has served as a member of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica’s Energy and Environment Committee.
