Special Cabinet meeting to discuss country’s fiscal policy
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Prime Minister Andrew Holness is expected to discuss the Zones of Special Operations during tomorrow’s culmination of a special two-day Cabinet meeting organised with specific focus on the economy.
The meeting, which involves a series of consultations on the Government’s fiscal policy, began today.
According to a release from the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), members of the Cabinet today reviewed the progress of the current fiscal policy and examined targets set.
The cabinet also discussed plans for the budget for the 2018/2019 financial year, OPM said. Holness and his team are to continue the discussions tomorrow.
