Heights take aim at St James U-20 final
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Heights FC will hope to return to the final of the St James Football Association’s Sandals International Under-20 competition when they take on Spot Valley High in the second game of a semi-final double-header at the UDC field this afternoon, set to start at 4:00 pm.
Heights FC were beaten on penalty kicks by Faulkland FC last year and topped the points tables in the regular season, winning five of their six games. They will hope to make back-to-back appearances in the final.
In the first game, Petersfield High and Bogue FC will meet starting at 2:00 pm as they seek to qualify for the final set for later this week.
Heights FC warmed up for today’s semi-final with a come-from-behind 3-1 win over Lane FC last week, with Neil Clarke, Alex Williams and Anthony Gooden all scoring in the second half after Tavear McNeil had given Lane FC the lead in the fourth minute.
