#London2017: World Champs schedule — Sunday, August 13
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaicans will take track one last time in the women’s 4x400m relays, which is the penultimate event on the final day of the IAAF World Championships in London.
This after the women’s 4x100m team picked up a bronze medal after clocking a season’s best of 42.19 seconds while the men were unable to finish after Usain Bolt sustained an injury and had to pull up while running the anchor leg.
Jamaica is currently 14th on the medal table with four medals, a far cry from the 12 predicted. This is the first since 1987 that Jamaica has had such few medals at a World Championships.
