Guyana police probe suspected murder/suicide
GEORGETOWN, Guyana (CMC) – Police are investigating an apparent murder suicide case in Guyana after the body of two business people were discovered a few hours apart.
Police believe that Rudolph Blair may have killed his former wife, Rhonda, whose body was found in the yard of her husband’s home on Thursday night in Berbice. His body was later found on Friday as investigators launched a search for him. It bore a gunshot wound and a gun was reportedly found nearby.
The two managed a number of retail stores for several years in the Berbice area, but the businesses fell apart as the couple’s marriage came to an end.
Police had gone in search of the woman on Thursday night after her friends complained that she could not be contacted.
