Police seize four firearms in St Catherine raid
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The St Catherine North police yesterday seized four firearms and six rounds of ammunition during special operations in Belgium, Central Village, Spanish Town.
Reports are that about 5:20 am, lawmen were in the area when a premises was searched and two .38 Smith and Wesson revolvers, a Taurus .38 Special and a .380 Larson Semi-Automatic pistol with six rounds of ammunition were found in a wrapped in a black plastic bag in a bucket.
Three men and one woman were taken into custody in connection with this seizure.
Their identities are however being withheld pending further investigations.
