Motorcyclist killed in St Thomas crash

ST THOMAS, Jamaica — A security guard died yesterday after his motorbike collided with a car along Poor Man’s Corner main road in St Thomas yesterday.

According to police reports Andre Dacres, otherwise called ‘Rapper’, was riding his Honda 600RR motorbike in a westerly direction, when a Mitsubishi Lancer motorcar travelling in the opposite direction made a right turn into the path of the motorbike causing a collision.

The crash happened about 10:30 pm.

Police took the 24-year-old Yallas man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations continue.
