Ginjah sticks to his Roots
Reggae singer Ginjah is looking forward to a warm reception to his latest album titled Roots .
The 14-track set, produced by UK-based label Stingray Records, is his third full-length project. Roots was released yesterday by VPal.
“This is a very good album. It has 14 solid roots-reggae tracks. Roots was created for people who appreciate this kind of music, and I am anticipating that roots-reggae fans will react to it positively all over the world,” said Ginjah.
In addition to the title track, the album features songs including My Sound, Bad Chargie, Great Son, Jah Blessings, Find Me a Place, My Queen, We Need More Love, and Not One Man.
Once part of Beres Hammond’s Harmony House camp, Ginjah entered the music business in 2000. He began touring with Hammond the following year.
He is known for songs including Never Lost My Way, Music Alone and Sweet Killer.
