Denzel Martin sings a love song
Singer Denzel Martin is in love and shares his joy on his latest single Love Song .
Martin, who believes in making timeless music, produced the song which has been released on the Lafayette Concepts Records label.
“I’m extremely happy with the response that the song has been getting. Radio has been giving it a lot of support,” said Martin.
He plans to increase the promotion of the song with the release of a video.
“I’m getting ready to shoot the video for the song. Hopefully it will be done and ready for release before the end of July,” he said.
A sculptor, furniture designer and graphic artist by profession, Martin is determined to make his mark on the music scene.
“I have a passion for making music that will engage a diverse audience. I like to write songs that move people and let them get in touch with their emotions. I think that’s something that’s lacking in reggae music today and I’m here to fill that void,” Martin said.
Martin, who was born in Kingston, grew up in Balcarres, Portland. A graduate of the Edna Manley College for the Visual and the Performing Arts, he also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College (Chicago).
Inspired by the likes of Beres Hammond and Maxi Priest, Denzel Martin launched his recording career in 1989 with the release of a song titled Memory.
