Two firearms seized in separate instances in St Andrew, 21-y-o man arrested
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The police have reported the seizure of two Smith and Wesson firearms and the arrest of a 21-year-old man in separate incidents in St Andrew.
The young man was reportedly taken into custody after the Duhaney Park police found a .38 Smith and Wesson Revolver and six rounds of ammunition at a house in Ferry, St Andrew about 10:10 pm Tuesday.
The police said his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
Meanwhile, the Jamaica Constabulary Force in a Twitter post said the Constant Spring police seized a Smith and Wesson Pistol in Hughenden in the parish during special investigations.
They did not indicate that an arrest was made in this instance.
