‘I’ll be back’, says Bailey-Cole after National Senior Champs injury
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Commonwealth Games champion Kemar Bailey-Cole has promised to return to the track after he pulled up injured in his first round 100m race at the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) National Senior Championships today.
The athlete, in an Instagram video following the race, said: “I’ll be back. One thing, mi spirit never dead. Just in a little pain but I will be back.” He also thanked his followers for the recovery wishes.
The championship was organised to select the team for the IAAF World Championships in London later this year.
