Gas prices down $0.62, diesel down $0.21
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, June 22, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $111.41 and $114.25 per litre, respectively, down by $0.62 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $105.19 per litre following a decrease of $0.21 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.15 and will be sold for $110.25 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.05 and will be sold for $87.44 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $39.82 per litre, down by $0.03 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $44.99 per litre after a decrease of $0.05.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
