Gas prices down $0.92, diesel down $1.37
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, June 15, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $112.03 and $114.87 per litre, respectively, down by $0.92 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $105.40 per litre following a decrease of $1.37, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $1.51, and will be sold for $110.44 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $2.96 and will be sold for $87.49 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $39.85 per litre, down by $2.60 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $45.04 per litre after a decrease of $1.12.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
