Bolt to star in Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 video game
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Track legend Usain Bolt will star in Pro Evolution Soccer this year exclusively to those who pre-order the video game.
Bolt in a tweet this morning said he was happy to announce his debut as a footballer in PES 2018.
Pro Evo is one of the most popular games in Konami’s back catalogue and has been available for consoles since 2003.
PES 2018 will be released in the United Kingdom in September, a month after Bolt retires from athletics.
Bolt, an eight-time Olympic gold medallist has won the 100 metre, 200 metre and 4×100 metre gold at the past three Olympic Games — Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016. He is expected to do his final race at the World Championships in London this August.
Pro Evo It’s a spin-off from the earlier International Superstar Soccer series which began in 1995.
PES 2017’s main aim was to reduce ground lost on FIFA, its big video game rival, in recent years.
PES 2018 will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
