Spencer to know fate in anti-doping case tomorrow
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel will convene tomorrow to deliver its decision in the case of top 400m hurdler Kaliese Spencer and the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO).
JADCO alleges that Spencer violated article 2.3 of the JADCO rules that, in effect, says she refused to give a sample when asked to by a JADCO collections officer last year.
Her management team had come out stridently refuting these allegations saying that they will “pursue all legal channels necessary to protect her good name and her reputation as a true ambassador of Jamaica”.
The hearing is set for 3:00pm at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston.
