Montague invites Bunting to share suggestions on curtailing crime
KINGSTON, Jamaica — National Security Minister, Robert Montague, says he has extended an invitation to shadow minister, Peter Bunting, to meet to discuss national security concerns.
In his letter to Bunting, Montague said he welcomes “suggestions and ideas which can help to reduce crime through bipartisan efforts”.
He added that they “will find common ground to address the root causes of crime, and not the symptoms, within the context of our 5-Pillar crime strategy for the benefit of Jamaica.”
Montague said he is now awaiting Bunting’s response.
