#RacersGrandPrix: Bolt makes grand entrance as patrons salute a legend
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Man of the moment Usain Bolt a short while ago made a grand entrance into a jam-packed National Stadium in Kingston to loud cheers at the second staging of the JN Racers Grand Prix.
Bolt, the triple world and Olympic champion is set to run his final competitive race on local soil at the meet dubbed “Salute to a Legend”, in honour of the outstanding achievements of the legendary athlete.
Bolt, 30, the world’s fastest man over the 100m and 200m, received tokens of appreciation from coach Glen Mills and from the NACAC president, as well as glowing tributes from IAAF president Lord Sebastian Coe, Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Opposition leader Peter Phillips.
