Vauxhall teachers arrested after shaving student’s head
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Three teachers from the Vauxhall High School in Kingston will face the court next Thursday following their arrest and charge on allegations that they shaved the hair from a male student’s head Wednesday morning.
The three have been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and unlawful wounding.Reports from the Elletson Road police are that the child received bruises when the three educators decided to give him a trim about 7:30am on the day in mention.The matter was reported to the police and the teachers subsequently taken into custody.As news of the incident spread, many Jamaicans have taken to social media to express their grouse at what they say are teachers having a ‘God complex’ in the classroom and calling for the three to be convicted.
