Munga Honorable murder case postponed to next Tuesday
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The court hearing for dancehall deejay, Munga Honorable in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court was put off this morning because the file was not submitted.
The deejay’s attorney Christopher Townsend told OBSERVER ONLINE that the police did not submit the file; however it will be submitted later today for him to face court on Tuesday.Munga whose given name is Damian Rhoden, is currently being held at the Hunts Bay Police Station in Kingston after being charged with the murder of Cleveland Smith approximately two-and-a-half weeks ago.He was first taken into police custody last Monday and released on Thursday, after he was questioned in relation to a shooting incident, which took place in the community of Ackee Walk in St Andrew.The dancehall deejay, who has a career spanning almost two decades, got his break in 2005 when he teamed up with producer Don Corleon. Among his tracks are Flippin Rhymes, Ina Mi Arms, and Bad From Me Born.Racquel Porter
