Cops hunt thieves who made off with $15m worth of farm equipment
CLARENDON, Jamaica — The Praedial Larceny Prevention Unit (PLPU) is seeking the public’s assistance in finding the culprits who stole approximately $15 million in equipment from a farm in Spring Plain in Clarendon last week.
Reports are that the following equipment million were discovered missing about 11:50 pm Friday:One blue ZangZou tractorOne blue Trailer46 bags of fertilizer, 30 of which are Green Plus All PurposeOne role of 50mm drip hoseFour 2000 metres rolls of drip tapeThree heavy-duty batteriesTwo drums of hydraulic oilA $75, 000 reward is being offered for the return of the blue ZangZou tractor and trailer.Anyone with information that may be able to assist the police in recovering these stolen items may contact the PLPU at 927-1731-50, Four Paths police at 987-0429, police 119 emergency number, Crime Stop at 311 or the nearest police station.
