Gas prices down $0.25, diesel down $2.30
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, May 11, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $108.34 and $111.18 per litre, respectively, down by $0.25 each.Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $105.0 per litre following a decrease of $2.30, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $2.50, and will be sold for $110.77 per litre.Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $2.66 and will be sold for $87.42 per litre.Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $42.17 per litre, up by $0.18 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $46.58 per litre after a decrease of $0.73.Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
