PNP hosting ‘youth link’ in Westmoreland
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) says it will be hosting a “youth link” at The Sunnyside Resort in Westmoreland.
A PNP press advisory today said that the session is part of Opposition Leader Peter Phillips’ “listening tour” in western Jamaica, and will provide him with an opportunity to engage students at the pre-tertiary and tertiary levels in a “reasoning session”.
The party said that the session, which begins at 4:00 pm today, was meant to facilitate a better understanding of the issues affecting students.
It said that the newly-installed party leader Phillips started this tour at the University of Technology (UTech) on April 20, when he met with a cross-section of university students to discuss the issues affecting young people in Jamaica.
