#PennRelays: Excelsior High leads small schools category in 4x100m
PHILADELPHIA, United States – Excelsior High School and Cornwall College topped the small schools section of the high school boys 4x100m at the 123rd Penn Relays Carnival after the heats at Franklin Field earlier today.
Excelsior, with Kimani Gardener, Imar Tomlinson, Andel Miller and Brandon Bembridge, ran 41.33 seconds to win their heat while Cornwall College also won their heat in 41.39 seconds — their best ever time at the Penn Relays — with the team of Matthew Brown, Ackeem Gordon, Kylelamar Francis and Washington Brown.Dinthill Technical was second to Cornwall in 41.75 seconds for fifth overall while Munro College also won their heat in 41.58 seconds, the fourth fastest time.Papine ran 41.78 seconds, St Catherine High- 41.86 seconds, Bridgeport- 42.06 seconds, Green Island- 42.09 seconds, Herbert Morrison- 42.10 seconds, Ardenne- 42.28 seconds, Manchester High- 42.29 seconds, Rusea’s High- 42.83 seconds and first timers Rhodes Hall 42/93 seconds.Paul Reid
