Jamaican woman fatally stabbed in Barbados – media reports
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Regional news reports are suggesting that a Jamaican woman was fatally stabbed by another Jamaican woman in Barbados this morning.
According to media reports, the two women were involved in a fight around 2:30 am at Jemmotts Lane, St Michael, which left one of them nursing stab wounds.The injured woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she died. It is understood that the women had an ongoing disagreement, according to a resident who spoke to NATION Online on condition of anonymity.People who say they witnessed the incident reported that both women were friends, and the deceased, whose correct name has not been released but is known as ‘Peppa’, was in the Caribbean island for only a week.
