Quallo
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Security Minister Robert Montague this afternoon hailed new Police Commissioner George Quallo as a man who was always concerned about the wellbeing of his colleagues, calling him a “policeman’s policeman”.
Montague said he was sure that Quallo would receive the support of his colleagues who have described the incoming custodian as approachable.
The security minister charged Quallo to effect the modernisation of the force and said he would replicate Quallo’s open-door policy as the two work together to implement new methods of policing.
Montague ended his remarks by presenting a tablet to the 29th Commissioner for Police which he said was intended to aid him in his duties.
